Nikki will talk about learning your craft, being humble, and working really hard. Versatility is the key to a longer career. She will cover topics such as audition technique, embracing all styles and other aspects of the business.
Annie will provide an insight into how she integrates disability advocacy and boundaries into her dance practice and hopefully will be inspired to think about inclusivity and empowerment through dance.
Nikki has worked as a world-class choreographer over the last 12 years, working with artists such as One Direction, Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Ed Sheeran & Little Mix. Nikki trained at London Studio Centre.
Nikki has choreographed and created for the biggest TV shows and concerts in the country, including The Greatest Dancer, Britain's Got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor, Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief and many more.
Annie Edwards is a hip hop and contemporary dance artist from Brighton, based in London. She is disabled and incorporates a drive for social justice within her practise. She is a graduate from London Contemporary Dance School and has since worked with companies such as ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, Candoco Dance Company, Theatre Rites, Le Compagnie Guetteur and Greenwich Dance, as well as a number of independent artists.
