What are the skills you need to teach dance and motivate others, across a wide range of settings? Participants will receive an insightful and educational session about Iona's journey as a professional dancer, dance leader and educator.

Iona began attending dance classes at her local community centre at the age of 9; a year later she joined ACE Youth and has been an integral member of the company ever since. Following a foundation course at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, she went on to achieve a 1st Class BA Hons at the University of Wolverhampton. Iona is Education Programme Manager at ACE dance and music and leads on all aspects of education and outreach for the company, delivers ACE’s thriving weekly class programme for children aged 2 – 19 years as well as teaching and managing the rehearsal and tour schedule of ACE Youth. ACE dance and music were the recipients of One Dance UK's Inspirational Work in Education Award in 2019.
