Russell Maliphant trained at the Royal Ballet School and joined Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet, (now 'Birmingham Royal Ballet') - dancing there for 7 years before leaving to explore independent and experimental dance forms and bodywork practices.
He formed his own company 25 years ago and has toured to over 43 countries around the world. Russell was the guest Artistic Director of National Youth Dance Company 2019-20. The recipient of numerous awards, Russell gained a PhD in 2021 and has been and associate artist at Sadlers Wells since 2005.

Kimberley was appointed as the Director of the Youth Dance Programme for Candoco Dance Company in July 2020. Kimberley is also a Candoco Artist, which has included teaching for the company both in the UK and internationally. Her relationship with Candoco began over twenty years ago when she was a young dancer with their youth company at the time, Cando2.
In addition to Kimberley’s work with Candoco Dance Company, she is an independent dance artist - she performs, choreographs and teaches. As part of this, Kimberley co-created inclusive contemporary dance company, Subtle Kraft Co. with Anna Emilsson in 2011.
