What To Expect?
In this session, Liam will be exploring the benefits of a non-traditional journey into dance and how to deal with the consequential struggles of this journey. Faye will be sharing her training background, career journey and values as a contemporary dance artist.

@liamfrancisdanceLiam's passion for dance was sparked by ZooNation's Into The Hoods. He began travelling up to London every weekend from the age of 14 to train with the company and then started performing with ZooNation. Whilst doing this he also worked as a commercial dancer and began training at London Studio Centre at the age of 18. Here Liam studied ballet and other techniques for the first time. He joined the school's third year contemporary company INTOTO and graduated in 2014. After this he joined Rambert and worked there as an artist for 6 years, whilst also choreographing, mentoring and writing.
Faye Tan

@fayefayefaye.tanFaye was born in Singapore and started her dance training there before going to Rambert School and Verve, the postgraduate company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. She was a full-time artist at Frontier Danceland (Singapore) from 2016-19 and the work she did in Singapore also included outreach programmes, coordinating a youth dance training programme, teaching, choreographing, digital marketing, videography and photography. In May 2019 Faye worked with Richard Chappell Dance, performing and working with local residents of various ages and abilities in Devon, before joining National Dance Company Wales, where she is currently a full-time dance artist.
