Liam's passion for dance was sparked by ZooNation's Into The Hoods. He began travelling up to London every weekend from the age of 14 to train with the company and then started performing with ZooNation. Whilst doing this he also worked as a commercial dancer and began training at London Studio Centre at the age of 18. Here Liam studied ballet and other techniques for the first time. He joined the school's third year contemporary company INTOTO and graduated in 2014. After this he joined Rambert and worked there as an artist for 6 years, whilst also choreographing, mentoring and writing.
