What To Expect?
Learn more about auditions, agents, being a dance captain and a cast member in some of theatre's biggest shows. In this session, Alex will be sharing information about working professionally in the West End as explained through personal experiences. She will also be discussing the highs and lows of being a freelance artist and what this means during COVID-19. Layton will be holding an engaging Question and Answer session for participants to get to know his work and achievements.

@alexsarmieOriginally based in New York City, Alexzandra has been working in the London theatre scene since 2013 with credits ranging from the West End Revival Cast of A Chorus Line at the London Palladium, to the Old Vic debut of the McOnie Company in Jekyll & Hyde, to the Original West End Cast of In The Heights at the King's Cross Theatre, to her most recent credit as Dance Captain of Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre, which she has been a part of since the original cast opened in London in 2017.

@laytonwilliamsLayton was born in Manchester and began his career at the age of 12 playing the title role in Billy Elliot in the West End. He went on to train at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts which was documented on CBBC’s School For Stars. His shows include Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Hairspray, Rent, The Car Man & Lord of The Flies for Matthew Bourne’s' New Adventures company. Layton played series regular ‘Stephen’ in the BBC Comedy Bad Education series and feature film. Layton is the director of ‘Pros From The Shows’ which provides high quality workshops for young performers." www.prosfromtheshows.com
